CHANDLER, AZ – A driver struck and killed a male pedestrian near N Alma School Rd and W Elliot Rd Saturday, according to AZ Family.
A driver hit Jeremy Alan Gruism, 43, as Gruis was walking on the road around 10 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Gruis to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities do not believe the driver was impaired or traveling too fast.
The Chandler Police Department is investigating the incident.
