GLENDALE, AZ – A driver fatally struck a male motorcyclist near Grand Ave and W Royal Palm Rd Saturday, according to 12 News.
A person driving a truck hauling a trailer was heading southeast on Grand Ave when they turned left onto W Royal Palm Rd without yielding to a motorcyclist heading northwest on Grand Ave. The motorcyclist then collided with the truck.
Rescue crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead a the scene of the accident.
Following the collision, the truck driver remained at the scene.
Officials have not released the name of the victim.
