FLORENCE, AZ – According to AZFamily, a driver died after crashing into four other vehicles on Hunt Hwy near Oasis Ln on Monday morning.
Steven Berbaum was reportedly speeding and swerving on Hunt Hwy when he nearly hit a Pinal County Sheriff’s deputy around 8 a.m.
The deputy attempted to perform a traffic stop on Berbaum when Berbaum went into oncoming traffic, rolled over, and hit four other vehicles.
First responders transported Berbaum to an area hospital, where he died. One other driver suffered minor injuries.
