YAVAPAI COUNTY, AZ – According to 12 News, one person is dead after a driver hit a group of motorcyclists on US 93 near mile marker 165 on Sunday.
A driver was heading south when he went into the northbound lanes to pass a semi-truck and collided with a group of four motorcyclists around 2:41 p.m.
One of the motorcyclists was thrown off of his bike. Rescue crews pronounced him dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the names of those involved in the wreck.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
