News: Driver, 25, dies from solo-vehicle crash in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ – A 25-year-old man was killed in a solo vehicle crash on East Golf Links Road in Tucson around 3 am Monday.

KGUN 9 said the man was traveling in a 2006 Toyota Corolla and hit the median. He kept going, hit a curb, and then crashed into a tree.

The man was transported to Banner-University Medical Center, where he died.

Police identified the man as Chase Aaron Ortiz. He did not have an active airbag, was not wearing a seatbelt, and was speeding.
