SCOTTSDALE, AZ – A cyclist was left in serious condition after getting hit by a vehicle along Scottsdale Airport on Monday, 12News reports.
The bicycle collision happened at the intersection of Scottsdale and Thunderbird Roads, and warranted a quick response from police and EMS crews.
After pulling up to the scene, medics transported the cyclist to a hospital for treatment.
The vehicle driver remained at the scene. No charges have been announced at this time.
Police and crews shut down northbound Scottsdale Road and westbound Thunderbird Road for the scene clean-up process and investigation period.
All lanes have reopened since.
