News: Car strikes, injures motorcycle officer in Glendale

GLENDALE, AZ – Medics transported a Glendale motorcycle officer to the hospital after a vehicle struck him Friday morning, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.

The incident happened just after 7:30 a.m. in the area of West Olive Avenue and North 59th Avenue, which is near the southeast corner of Glendale Community College.

Authorities say the sedan hit the officer after leaving a private drive.

The motorcycle officer suffered serious injuries but is expected to recover.

The driver of the vehicle did not sustain injuries in the crash.
