News: Car driver hospitalized after collision with semi-truck in Casa Blanca

CASA BLANCA, AZ – A sedan driver was hospitalized for life-threatening injuries after a collision involving a semi-truck that happened on I-10 East on Friday.

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. near Bapchule, according to the Arizona Family. Preliminary details show that the sedan drifted out of the eastbound lanes and collided with a big rig hauling produce.

The force of the collision caused the red sedan’s front hood and passenger side to be completely totaled, while the truck was free from damage.

Officials shut down the eastbound lanes for several hours and reopened all lanes after 10:30 a.m.
