PHOENIX, AZ – A man was left in serious condition as a result of a bicycle collision that happened near 11th Avenue and East Carefree Highway on Tuesday.
The crash took place around 9:00 a.m., according to 12News. An off-duty police officer treated a cyclist for injuries prior to EMS crews taking him to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Police said the car driver and a woman stayed at the scene.
An investigation is underway.
