SCOTTSDALE, AZ – It took the Arizona Department of Transportation crews a little over an hour to clear the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on Loop 101 North Thursday morning.

The collision was reported at 7:45 a.m. and was cleared by 8:55 a.m. The crash initially blocked an HOV lane and one or two left lanes. It appeared to have involved a commercial van and at least four vehicles, some of which were totaled. Two pickup trucks were seen behind the crash site and did not seem to be significantly damaged.
Officials have not specified the exact cause of the crash or said if anyone was injured. Additional details will be provided after our team learns more.
