PHOENIX, AZ – Arizona Department of Transportation blocked multiple northbound Interstate 17 lanes along Thunderbird Road for several hours due to a multi-car crash.
The crash happened around 4:30 a.m., on Wednesday and closures were immediately implemented, according to AZFamily.
Authorities blocked the entire interstate to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process.
Officials have not specified the number of people and vehicles involved, and whether anyone was injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
