WEST PHOENIX, AZ – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in West Phoenix on Thursday, according to AZFamily.
The crash occurred before 4 a.m. at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Claremont Street. Few details about the collision are available. However, according to the source, it appears the impact of the crash damaged a homeowner’s front yard fence, and debris, including glass and vehicle parts, were scattered throughout the street.
The source said at least one person was put into an ambulance and brought to a hospital. Another individual, a woman, was handcuffed by police, although it is unclear if she will face charges.
Authorities closed both directions of 43rd Avenue, north of Bethany Home Road to Maryland Avenue. Motorists and residents alike are asked to avoid the area to allow crews to focus on the scene-clean-up process.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
