MESA, AZ – According to AZFamily, authorities cited a cement truck driver for causing a seven-vehicle wreck on US 60 near Val Vista Blvd on Tuesday.
A 42-year-old man was driving a cement truck when he crashed into a pickup truck driven by Aymee Ruiz. The collision caused the pickup truck to become engulfed in flames. First responders pulled Ruiz from the burning wreckage.
Four people were hurt in the incident.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the collision.
