TEMPE, AZ – A motorcyclist was brought to the hospital following a T-bone collision involving a car that happened around 4 p.m. on Monday.
Tempe Police told AZ Family that the incident unfolded when a driver of a car pursued a left turn and collided with a motorcycle near East Southern Avenue and South Mill Avenue.
The motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the emergency room.
Authorities shut down Southern Avenue between Mill and College Avenues to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process.
At the time of the reporting, authorities did not have a time estimate regarding when all lanes would clear.
