TEMPE, AZ – Authorities have arrested a man for running over three bicyclists on College Ave near Apache Blvd on Oct. 6, according to AZFamily.
Gustavo Cuiriz, 21, was driving a Toyota SUV when he allegedly hit the three bicyclists.
First responders transported the three bicyclists to area hospitals.
Following the collision, Cuiriz stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Investigators do not believe he was impaired.
Tempe police arrested Cuiriz on Tuesday on three counts of causing serious physical injury by moving violations.
