PHOENIX, AZ – At least one person died in a wrong-way collision on Loop 202 South Mountain Fwy EB near S 40th St on Monday, according to 12 News.
The collision involved a semi-truck and happened around 10:50 a.m. Following the crash, the semi-truck caught on fire. Firefighters put out the blaze.
It is unclear how many people were killed or hurt in the wreck.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
