News: Alleged red light runner causes fatal two-vehicle collision in Mesa 

MESA, AZ – A sedan driver allegedly ran a red light, which led to a fatal two-vehicle collision that claimed the life of a 51-year-old man on Sunday.

The crash happened in the area of State Route 24 and Signal Butte Road, according to 12News. Mesa Police said that after the sedan driver had reportedly gone through a red light, they then crashed into a van, occupied by 10 people.

The 51-year-old man, later identified as Evon Zubah, died from his injuries at the scene. Several van occupants sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital by EMS crews for treatment.

Police did not confirm whether Zubah was the sedan or van driver or say whether he was a sedan or van passenger.
