PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZ Family, a man is accused of being impaired when he slammed into a Phoenix police patrol car near N Cave Creek Rd and E Grovers Ave on Sunday.
Jon Vanden Heuvel, 54, was driving into oncoming traffic when he hit the side of a patrol car. Heuvel continued driving and tried to leave the area, but police apprehended him and charged him with DUI.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.
