PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, one person was hurt when a suspected impaired driver collided with another vehicle near S Central Ave and W Dobbins Rd on Saturday.
Justin Calderon Jimenez, 26, was driving east on Dobbins Rd when he attempted to pass a driver on his left and collided with the victim, who was turning left onto Central Ave around 1 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.
Authorities charged Jimenez with aggravated assault and DUI.
