PHOENIX, AZ – An alleged DUI driver was responsible for causing a crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Phoenix on Friday, 12News said.
The alleged DUI driver crashed her car into a motorcycle in the area of 48th Street and Vineyard Road. EMS crews rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
Police said the female driver stayed at the scene and exhibited signs of impairment. They processed her for DUI and said charges will be determined once they receive the toxicology results.
