News: Accident closes multiple lanes on westbound I-10 near Winona Park

PHOENIX, AZ – Emergency crews were called to a collision Friday night on Interstate 10 in west Phoenix’s Winona Park area, according to Arizona DOT.

The accident took place on the westbound highway near Exit 140 to North 43rd Avenue. It was first reported shortly before 8:17 p.m.

Local officials have not indicated what led up to the wreck or how many vehicles were impacted, but the scene left multiple westbound lanes blocked.
