News: 5 people injured in Gilbert accident involving school bus

GILBERT, AZ – Five people, including 3 students, were injured in a crash between a school bus and van near Higley Rd. and Chandler Heights Rd. on Friday morning.

FOX10 reports a school bus and a white van were involved in a collision near the intersection of Higley Rd. and Chandler Heights Rd.

There were 59 students on the bus at the time of the crash. Three students and the driver sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the van was transported to a local hospital for unknown injuries.

Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
