GLENDALE, AZ – A 25-year-old man was killed after his vehicle crashed into multiple objects on last Wednesday morning.
According to the Glendale Star, Vicente Hernandez was traveling south on N. 75th Avenue from the Union Hills intersection in a 2005 Chevy truck just after midnight.
Hernandez’s Chevy drifted and hit a concrete median. Then, the vehicle traveled further south, went across lanes, and hit a roadway block. The vehicle then headed south again and struck a light pole causing it to fall. Then, the vehicle traveled south again, spun out of control, and came to a stop.
Local authorities report Hernandez was not wearing a seat belt and was dead at the crash scene.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing, but report the driver was traveling at high rates of speed.
