News: 2-vehicle Phoenix collision kills 1, ruled homicide

PHOENIX, AZ – An investigation is underway following a two-vehicle crash that also involved a fatal shooting near the interstate in west Phoenix, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.

Police say the incident happened around midnight on Saturday in the area of I-10, or the Papago Freeway, and North 67th Avenue.

Authorities have not shared many details about how the crash happened but say they found one person and two vehicles at the crash scene. The driver at the scene, identified as 34-year-old Robert Linn Wolford, had been shot.

Wolford died after transport to a local hospital.
