News: 2-vehicle crash on I-10 kills 1 in W Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – One person died after a vehicle collided with a stopped car alongside the interstate in West Phoenix on Monday night, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.

Police say the incident occurred just before 11 p.m. on I-10 near the junction with Loop 101, or the Agua Fria Freeway.

The investigation thus far indicates that a vehicle rear-ended a car that was stopped along the interstate with a blown tire.

The victim in the accident died at the scene. Authorities have not reported any other injuries.

A full investigation of the collision is underway.
