News: 2-vehicle crash kills 1, injures 2 in N Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – A man died, and two other adults suffered serious injuries after two vehicles collided at an intersection in North Phoenix on Thursday, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.

Police say the incident happened around 2:15 p.m. near the intersection of 23rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road, which is just east of the Arizona Veterans Highway.

Authorities have not commented on how the crash happened but have shared that a woman became entrapped in her vehicle and had to be extricated.

Medics transported three adults to the hospital following the crash. One person, identified as Cole Boaz, died after transport.

An adult male and an adult female are receiving treatment for serious injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
