PHOENIX, AZ – Two men went to the hospital after their vehicles collided near a busy intersection in east Phoenix on Friday morning, reports abc15 Arizona.
Police say the incident happened just after 9 a.m. near the intersection of 48th Street and East Van Buren Street, which is between Loop 202 and the Hohokam Expressway.
Authorities have not yet discussed the cause of the collision but say that one of the men became entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated.
Both men are receiving treatment for serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
