SURPRISE, AZ – Two people were killed and four others were rushed to the hospital following a wrong-way crash near Surprise last night.
According to ABC 15, the collision occurred at about 9 p.m. on the Sun Valley Parkway just west of Loop 303.
Officers discovered multiple vehicles seriously damaged in in the roadway. The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Another adult man in a different vehicle also suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
Four additional victims were taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
