MESA, AZ – According to AZFamily, two people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision near S Dobson Rd and W Broadway Rd on Wednesday.
A driver was speeding when they collided with another vehicle. The speeding driver then crashed into a water main.
Rescue crews transported two people to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle that was struck was the sole occupant, and they were not hurt in the collision.
Following the crash, crews closed the area to clear the scene. It was reopened around 5:50 a.m.
It is unclear if impairment played a factor in the incident.
