News: 2 drivers hit pedestrian in West Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, the Phoenix Police Department is investigating a pedestrian collision in West Phoenix early Wednesday morning.

Two drivers hit a man on West Van Buren Street near North 25th Avenue around 3 a.m. The crash occurred outside a marked crosswalk and caused the victim to become pinned under the second vehicle.

First responders extricated the man from underneath the vehicle and transported him to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Crews closed down the area to process the scene. It was reopened around 5 a.m.
