News: 2-car crash with entrapment injures 2 in N Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – Two men went to the hospital Tuesday evening after two cars collided near a busy intersection in North Phoenix, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.

Police say the incident happened just after 7 p.m. near the intersection of West Greenway Road and North 43rd Avenue, which is just down the road from Greenway High School.

It’s still unclear how the accident happened, but authorities say that one of the drivers crashed into a utility pole. Response crews extricated the driver, who had become entrapped in the vehicle.

Both men sustained critical, life-threatening injuries.
