PHOENIX, AZ – Medics transported a woman in her 40s and her baby to a hospital after two cars collided at a busy Phoenix intersection Tuesday, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.
Police say the incident happened in the area of South 16th Street and Southern Avenue, which is just west of Hermoso Pool and Skatepark.
It’s still unclear how the collision occurred, but video footage at the scene showed a damaged pickup truck and a car that had rotated sideways and come to rest near a light pole.
Medics say the woman and baby sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
