News: 13-year-old girl dies following UTV crash in Cochise County

ELFRIDA, AZ – A 13-year-old girl died in a UTV crash on private property on N Hawk Eye Rd on Saturday, according to 12 News.

A 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl were riding a side-by-side UTV when they crashed around 5:30 p.m.

The 13-year-old girl was killed in the wreck. Rescue crews airlifted the 14-year-old girl to an area hospital in critical condition.

Neither girl was wearing a helmet or seatbelt.

The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
