News: 1 injured in vehicle accident at I-10, 59th Ave. in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – One person was injured in a vehicle accident that happened at the I-10 and North 59th Avenue connector Monday. 

The Arizona Department of Transportation first announced the crash at 3:59 p.m., stating it happened in the eastbound lanes. 

While no lane closures were reported, drivers may want to consider alternative routes as crews work to clean up the debris and restore safe road conditions. 

Crews have not provided a time estimate regarding when the scene will be cleared, and officials did not specify how the crash was involved or list the number of people and vehicles involved.
