News: 1 hospitalized after crash in Mesa 

MESA, AZ – One person had to go to the hospital after a crash in Mesa on Sunday, according to 12News.

The incident unfolded when police tried to pull over a man riding a motorcycle in the area of Alma School Road and McClellan Road. The male motorcyclist refused to pull over and immediately fled the scene.

Police did not initiate a pursuit, and the motorcyclist later crashed into another vehicle on Interstate 10 West near 19th Avenue.

The fleeing motorcyclist sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to the emergency room. No injuries were reported for the other driver.
