PHOENIX, AZ – According to 12 News, one person died and four others were hurt in a wrong-way crash on AZ 202 Loop near 32nd St Sunday.
A driver was heading west in the eastbound lanes of traffic when they collided with an oncoming vehicle.
Rescue crews transported a 9-year-old girl, a 12-year-old girl, a 20-year-old woman, a 33-year-old male, and another adult of unspecified age and gender to area hospitals. It is unclear which one of them died from their injuries.
Officials have not released the victims’ names.
