PEORIA, AZ – According to AZFamily, a driver struck and injured a pedestrian at N 79th Ave and W Cactus Rd on Thursday.
The driver hit the victim around 7 a.m.
First responders transported the victim to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Following the collision, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
Crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area was reopened around 10:45 a.m.
