PHOENIX, AZ – Several lanes of traffic were closed following a major collision on Loop 202 early Monday.
According to a report by Arizona DoT, the accident took place at about 4:20 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near the 24th Street exit.

The events surrounding the crash, and the number of vehicles involved, are unclear at this time. However, photos show emergency vehicles blocking all eastbound lanes of the freeway, putting traffic at a standstill.
