PHOENIX, AZ – A young child was killed when he was struck by a vehicle in the Avondale area on Saturday evening, ABC 15 reports.
The victim was hit in the area of 107th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road while with is mother. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died a short time later.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with responding officers. It is unclear at this time if any charges will be filed in connection to the crash.
