MESA, AZ – A wrong-way driver fatally struck another vehicle on Loop 202 Red Mountain SB near Recker Road on Saturday, according to AZFamily.
The driver was heading north in the southbound lanes of Loop 202 when they collided with the other vehicle around 11 p.m.
First responders pronounced one person dead at the scene and transported two people to area hospitals.
Crews shut down the area after the crash to process the scene.
