PHOENIX, AZ – Two women were injured after crashing a stolen sedan into the Maryvale neighborhood on Friday, AZFamily reports.
The single-car crash occurred after 7 a.m. in the area of 35th Avenue and Osborn Road. Preliminary details show that the two women stole the blue-colored sedan and then crashed it into a pole outside of a Circle K.
The women tried to flee the scene on foot, but were immediately detained by Phoenix police.
Police closed the area to allow for the scene clearance process. No lane reopenings have been reported.
