News: Woman struck, killed by vehicle in west Phoenix lot

PHOENIX, AZ – A pedestrian crash that took place in a parking lot in west Phoenix killed a woman in her 20s Thursday afternoon, reports azcentral.

The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. in a parking lot or business driveway near the intersection of North 15th Avenue and Thomas Road, which is just north of Encanto Park.

The woman died after transport to a local hospital.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident spoke with officers following the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
