News: Woman in wheelchair killed in crash with vehicle in west Phoenix 

WEST PHOENIX, AZ – A woman in a wheelchair was killed in a crash involving a vehicle that occurred last Thursday, Feb. 12.

Phoenix Police told AZFamily that the 75-year-old woman, riding a motorized scooter, was trying to cross the area of North 75th Avenue and West Encanto Boulevard when she was struck by a vehicle.

The woman in a wheelchair was rushed to a hospital, where she later died. She has since been identified as 68-year-old Tracie L. Gordon.

Police do not suspect impairment as a contributing factor.

A full investigation is underway.
