News: Woman in serious condition after pursuit-turned-collision in Phoenix 

PHOENIX, AZ – A suspect was left in serious condition as a result of a pursuit-turned-collision that happened Tuesday night, AZFamily said.

The suspect was driving at a rate of 130 mph on I-10, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. The trooper tried to pull over the suspect near 35th Avenue, but he did not listen, prompting a pursuit. Somewhere on 79th Avenue, the driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the freeway overpass fence.

The suspect’s vehicle was totaled, and he was taken to a hospital.

Troopers have not specified what sort of charges the driver will face.

Officials cleared the scene by 2 p.m.
