News: Woman hospitalized following pedestrian collision in NW Phoenix 

NORTHWEST PHOENIX, AZ – A woman was sent to a local hospital following a pedestrian collision that took place on I-17 Thursday, ABC 15 reports. 

The woman was struck by a car while walking on the interstate. Arizona Department of Public Safety and EMS crews pulled up to the scene after 9:30 p.m. Ambulance personnel rushed the woman to the ER for treatment of serious, life-threatening injuries. 

Troopers did not specify why the woman was walking on the interstate or confirm the contributing factors leading to the collision.
