TUCSON, AZ – A female pedestrian died after a vehicle struck her near a busy intersection in Tucson on Sunday night, reports KOLD News 13.
Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. near the intersection of East Irvington Road and Mountain Avenue, which is just southwest of Bravo Park.
The investigation indicates that a woman was trying to cross Irvington when a 2022 Dodge Ram struck her. Authorities say the woman was not utilizing a crosswalk at the time of the crash and that she died at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Ram remained at the scene of the crash and cooperated with police. Impairment is not suspected at this time.
