WITTMANN, AZ – According to 12 News, the Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred on US 60 near Dove Valley Rd on Saturday.
The driver of a Dodge pickup truck hauling a trailer with two horses was heading east on US 60 when they hit a red Nissan Titan Pickup truck around 12:30 a.m.
First responders pronounced a passenger from the Titan, Mary Ellen Frankum, 64, dead at the scene and transported two people to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities believe impairment may have been a factor in the collision.
