News: Troopers investigate deadly motorcycle crash on I-17

PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, the Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal motorcycle wreck that happened on I-17 SB near Indian School Rd on Sunday.

The motorcyclist was riding at excessive speeds when he lost control of the bike and crashed around 1 p.m. The motorcyclist suffered injuries to his head and neck.

Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital, where he died.

Officials have not released the motorcyclist’s name.
