News: Troopers investigate deadly auto vs. pedestrian crash near Riverpoint

PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, the Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal auto vs. pedestrian collision that happened on I-10 near University Dr on Friday.

A driver was heading west on I-10 when they hit the victim around 10 p.m. The victim may have then been struck by other vehicles. It is unclear if any drivers stayed at the scene following the crash.

The victim died at the scene.

Authorities closed down a section of I-10 WB to investigate the incident. The area was reopened around 5 a.m.
