News: Teen girl dead following 2-vehicel collision near Deer Creek

PEORIA, AZ – A 17-year-old girl died following a two-vehicle collision at N 75th Ave and W Cholla St on Wednesday, according to AZFamily.

The driver of a Chevrolet Avalanche was heading south on N 75th Ave when they collided with the driver of a Toyota Scion turning left onto Cholla St around 11 a.m.

Rescue crews transported two people from the Scion and the pickup truck driver to an area hospital, where the girl died. The other person was admitted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and the pickup truck driver had minor injuries.

Crews closed the area and reopened it around 4:45 p.m.

Officials have not released the deceased girl’s name because she is a minor.
